WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD. Seriously, stop reading if you haven't watched the movie. You might blame me for spoiling the ending. :P Go watch the movie now! GoGoGo!!
The movie was based on Aron Ralston's autobiography, Between a Rock and a Hard Place.
The amputation scene really disturbed me. I couldn't even watch it straight. And it so happened that I was eating pineapple during that bloody scene. My internals were driving me nuts!
The scene with my boyfriend:
Me: Is it done?
BF: No.
Me: What's he doing?
BF: Still cutting.
Me: Why are you watching?
BF: I have to know.
Me: Why?
BF: (face distorted) It's bloody.
Me: (puke)
No, of course I didn't puke, but I seriously wanted to.
Anyway, this is the real Aron Ralston with his wife, Jessica Trusty, whom he met three years after the accident.
