Mirror Mirror: The Snow White Legend Comes Alive

I never heard of this adaptation. I just accidentally ran into this movie.

First impression: Serious and dark

While watching the movie: Can't stop laughing

After the movie: Listed it as my current top favorite movie of 2012

Five reasons why I love this movie: It's funny, funny, funny, funny, and have I mentioned it's funny? <(^_^)/

It's seriously funny! I can't even count the number of times I've laughed during the movie. If you're the type of person who wants a good laugh and a good script, watch this movie. You will not regret!

But seriously, here are my reasons for liking the movie:

1. It's funny! \(^_^)/ It really is. (Annoying me! Nyaha~)

2. Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen is perfect. She's evil, elegant, and extravagant.

3. I love the dresses! I love love looooovvveee the dresses!!!
(Sadly, the costume designer, Eiko Ishioka, who was the most acclaimed designer in Japan, died of pancreatic cancer on January 21, 2012 without seeing the finished film. /(T^T)\ R.I.P. Eiko.)

My favorite dress! <(^o^)/  I love the combination
of every detail.  I love it! Please be mine~

The cloak is even gorgeous! Yellow is the best!

The red peacock dress. Beautiful! 

I'd love to be a peacock in a ball. Hehe :p

This dress looks really elegant. The golden chair even
compliments it. Just breathlessly amazing!

Snow White's wedding dress. It looks a bit like a kimono
because of the orange ribbon at the back.  Interesting~!

I love this because it's yellow! I love yellow! I don't
care if it's heavy and demanding. Nyehe~ /(^_~)> 

It's a simple white dress with great impact.

The arm covering is simply elegant! 

The swan costume. A very beautiful swan~

4. Finally, I like the plot. It's different. It's something you don't expect from a Snow White movie, though this is more preference-based.
